HEDGEROW SURVEYING TRAINING DAY – Thurs 8 March, 2018
Hedgerows are the ‘green lifesavers’ for many wild creatures: nests for birds and hedgehogs, flight lines and foraging for bats, nectar for bees, insects, dragonflies and butterflies, and beautiful to look at too . . .

  • Like to know how to save a hedgerow near you?
  • Learn how to become a Volunteer Hedgerow Surveyor and join Havant Borough Tree Wardens new team.
  • Training is being offered by Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and Havant Borough Tree Wardens.

On Thurs 8 March, 9.30-1.00. At Emsworth Community Centre and on Brook Meadow Local Wild Life Reserve.

Conservation Work Sessions
Work sessions are held on the first Sunday and third Thursday in the month. 10am – 12 noon. Meet at the new tool store (HQ) on the Seagull Lane patch at the end of Seagull Lane. All tools, tea/coffee and biscuits, provided.
